This regional hospital seeks a permanent, full-time Consultant Radiologist to join their dynamic team. You'll work alongside a collaborative group of radiologists and a wider multidisciplinary team, delivering diagnostic excellence for the local community and beyond through advanced digital connectivity.
The department offers a full range of modalities, including General X-ray, CT, MRI, Interventional procedures, Angiography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy. All equipment is state-of-the-art, with CT, MRI, and ultrasound upgraded in 2022 and is supported by an integrated regional RIS/PACS system.
Professional development and work-life balance are valued. There are also leadership opportunities available across Training (leading thier accredited training programme with RANZCR), Clinical Lead Breast Radiology and Clinical Lead MRI

You will have:
- Essential skills in general plain film, ultrasound, CT, and MRI reporting
- Desirable subspecialty interests in musculoskeletal MRI, interventional radiology (excluding intracranial), CT colonography, cardiac CT, or nuclear medicine
- Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligibility based on recognised postgraduate qualifications
