Lodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with our client in the Bradford area who has a requirement for a CNC Miller working on nights. Due to continued growth, this is an opportunity for someone to progress their career in a successful, well-established, and stable engineering business.

The Company

This engineering business manufactures and supplies a highly specified product to a global customer base. Sectors they feed into include automotive, yellow goods, oil, marine and aerospace applications. The company has a strong reputation for quality and workmanship and has been a leader in their field for almost a century.

What We Are Looking For

The successful CNC Miller will have the following:

• Ideally be apprentice trained or time served CNC Miller.
• Programming or editing experience using Okuma machines and/or Fanuc controls would be beneficial.
• Experience of using a range of different materials like high grade steel
• Experience of working in Oil and Gas, Automotive, Aerospace sectors would be an advantage.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing, working to close tolerances.

What Do You Get? The successful Nightshift CNC Miller will receive the following:

• A salary of £37,500 - £42,000/annum
• Shift: Initial start on days and then moving on to Regular Night shift - Monday - Thursday 7:45pm - 6am (39 hour week)
• Overtime available and paid at T1/2
• Permanent position from day one
• Annual salary increase
• 20 days holiday + stats (due to 4 day week)
