Apply directWe're partnering with a respected education institution that is seeking an experienced People Partner to join its established People & Culture team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with academic and professional leaders, providing trusted advice across a broad range of people matters while helping shape a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
As a senior member of the HR team, you'll balance strategic partnering with hands-on operational support, managing complex employee relations matters, coaching leaders and contributing to key workforce initiatives.
The Role
- Reporting into a senior People & Culture leader, you will
- Partner with leaders to provide practical HR advice and solutions across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage complex employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, complaints and workplace change.
- Support workforce planning, organisational change and capability-building initiatives.
- Coach and influence managers to build confidence in people leadership.
- Collaborate with specialist HR teams to deliver high-quality people outcomes.
- Analyse workforce trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
About You
You are an experienced HR Business Partner or People Partner who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships and navigating complex people challenges.
- You'll bring
- Strong employee relations and case management experience.
- Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, workplace legislation and HR policy.
- The ability to influence and coach leaders at varying levels of seniority.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a team-first culture.
