Our client, a leading global mining company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Brisbane CBD finance team on a casual full-time contract through to the end of the year.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong SAP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across multiple teams.

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
- High-volume invoice processing, coding and matching
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigation and resolution of invoice discrepancies
- Processing payment runs
- Managing vendor queries and maintaining supplier relationships
- Updating and maintaining supplier records within SAP
- Collaborating with stakeholders across nine finance teams
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable position
- Strong SAP experience (essential)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Hybrid model: 2 days working from home and 3 days working from the office
- Thursday is a mandatory in-office day
- For the first month, you will be required to work full-time from the office to support onboarding, training, system familiarisation and integration with the team
