Senior Java Application Engineer / Technical Lead (8297)

A Global IT services company is seeking a Senior Java Application Engineer / Technical Lead.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance APIs supporting a large-scale e-commerce shopping cart system and merchant-facing services
- Lead application development and technical design for new features, enhancements, and system improvements
- Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions
- Drive development and operations projects while coordinating with developers, business teams, and related technical teams
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve technical challenges
- Drive continuous improvements in system performance, stability, maintainability, and development and operations processes

Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Java development
- Experience developing Web APIs using RESTful technologies
- Experience operating large-scale online systems and handling production incidents
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Ability to proactively design and develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code
- Senior-level engineering experience and skills, with the ability to proactively communicate with QA and Product Managers, lead other engineers, and drive projects forward
- Experience leading a development team of approximately 5 or more members

Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
