Welder | Civil Site Based | North Brisbane QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our client's growing civil construction team based in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established company delivering urban subdivision projects across Brisbane. The majority of work is located on the Northside, however candidates must be willing to travel across the wider Brisbane region as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain civil construction machinery and equipment
• Complete welding repairs on excavator buckets, attachments and other heavy equipment
• Fabricate and weld fencing for retaining wall installations
• Perform general fabrication, cutting, grinding and welding duties
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
• Maintain welding equipment, tools and company vehicle
• Work safely across workshop and construction site environments
• Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements at all times
• Recognise and report hazards promptly through company reporting systems
• Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain high-quality workmanship

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Previous welding and fabrication experience
• Experience repairing civil, earthmoving or heavy machinery is highly regarded
• Confident completing excavator bucket repairs and structural welding
• Ability to accurately measure, fabricate and complete quality welding work
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, motivated and committed to producing quality workmanship
• Full Australian working rights

• $60/hr + penalties + company vehicle
• Temp-to-perm pathway after three months (or earlier if suitable)
• Company vehicle provided
• Monday to Friday roster
