Night Shift Forklift/Labourer

Working within a busy manufacturing and distribution environment, you'll play a key role in moving steel products, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily yard operations.

About the Role As an experienced Operator, you will be responsible for the safe movement of steel products and materials throughout the site.
Key Duties

• Loading and unloading trucks using a Forklift
• Manual Handling
• Moving cages back and forth 
• Moving trucks and trailers
• Assisting with forklift loading operations within the yard
• RF scanning and stock control activities
• Conducting stock takes and inventory checks
• Safely handling long-length and oversized steel products
• Liaising with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations
• General yard duties and housekeeping
• Adhering to all site safety procedures and requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (for Forklift positions)
• Experience handling steel, timber, piping, or other oversized materials
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, yard, or warehouse environment
• RF scanning and stock control experience
• Ability to safely manage long and awkward loads
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
