As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering complex cost management services while working closely with senior leadership, developers, investors, and project stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for managing key client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and providing expert guidance across all stages of the construction lifecycle.
DUTIES.
- Provide strategic cost advice, feasibility studies, and cost planning solutions
- Manage tender processes, procurement advice, and contract reviews
- Deliver value management and cost optimisation strategies
- Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and financial analysis
- Manage client relationships and attend project meetings
- Provide commercial advice and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor and develop junior and intermediate quantity surveyors
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to market growth
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- 10+ years’ experience within Quantity Surveying / Cost Consultancy
- Strong background delivering projects within the Australian construction market
- Proven experience across pre-contract cost planning and advisory services
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple complex commissions
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
- Membership with a recognised professional body (AIQS, RICS, or equivalent) highly regarded
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and market trends
