Working for an established and growing business based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. With a turnover of approximately £3 million and exciting plans. The company is looking for an experienced Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
Working closely with the business owner, this role offers plenty of autonomy and variety. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of finance, supporting business decisions, and becoming a trusted member of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Month-end reporting
- Cash flow management and reporting
- P&L reporting
- Producing Balance sheets
- Producing the trial balance
- Explaining financial information to the Managing Director
- Accruals and prepayments
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Posting journals
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Running BACS payments
- Credit control
About You
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Previous experience managing a broad finance role
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the finance function
- Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Positive, proactive and practical approach
