About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Overnight
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (with rotating weekends)
- Hours: 11pm to 7am
- Setting: Crisis Therapeutic Home
Responsibilities:
- Conducting nursing assessments for consumers on admission
- Preparing and implementing written plans of care
- Monitoring and ensuring proper medication administration
- Coordinating care with healthcare providers
- Providing training to residents and staff
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Developmentally Disabled persons
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program
- VA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Healthcare role/setting
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in an Acute Care and/or Hospital setting
- Experience with Crisis Intervention / Management
