Core Responsibilities
- Manage incoming, outgoing, and returned inventory while maintaining accurate stock levels
- Support technicians and service teams with parts availability, order fulfillment, and special orders
- Conduct inventory audits and track discrepancies, shortages, and reorder needs
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and hazardous material handling procedures
- Review parts requests and verify accuracy using electronic parts catalog systems
- Assist with invoicing, billing, reporting, and inventory documentation
- Communicate with vendors, service teams, and management regarding delays and parts status
- Experience working in an automotive parts department
- Strong inventory control and warehouse operations experience
- Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz parts systems and vehicle components
- Ability to read and navigate electronic parts catalogs (Paragon or similar)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable using Excel, Word, and inventory management systems
- Mercedes-Benz dealership or OEM parts department experience
- Experience handling hazardous materials or DOT shipping requirements
- Background supporting technicians in a service or repair environment
- Experience with purchasing, invoicing, and inventory reporting
