The Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established organisation with a strong national presence that is currently experiencing growth and change. Due to internal movement and increased year-end workload, they are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end payroll processing across weekly/fortnightly/monthly cycles
  • Ensure accurate payroll delivery in line with legislation, awards, and policies
  • Maintain employee payroll records (new starters, terminations, variations, leave)
  • Process payroll adjustments including overtime, allowances, deductions, and back pay
  • Use Dayforce for payroll processing and system maintenance
  • Reconcile payroll and support month-end reporting
  • Ensure compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and provide timely support
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and payroll compliance requirements
  • Support process improvements and system efficiencies
About You
  • 3 - 5 Years Experience as a Senior Payroll Officer
  • Dayforce experience essential
  • Immediately available to start
