Job Position: Direct Hire-Quality Technician

Location: GARLAND, TX 75041

Pay Rate: $70K–$75K salary

Description: Quality support position with primary responsibilities focused upon organization and maintenance of the
facility document control system and provides key efforts and input to the training and performance of
Quality Auditors and Quality Containment associates.

Organize and maintain the document control system. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
Part Drawings; Operator Instructions; Inspection Instructions; Quality Alerts; Change Requests; Customer
Specifications; Non-conforming Materials Process; Ensure that all records are properly identified for storage
and stored in such a manner to support compliance to current system requirements and to prevent damage,
if applicable.
Assist in development and implementation of supporting quality system documentation including updates
and changes resulting from engineering changes and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
This includes, but is not limited to: Operator Instructions; Packaging Standards; Inspection Instructions;
Change Requests (CR’s); Quality Alerts.
Coordinate facility calibration activities and maintain the supporting calibration database as assigned: Enter
new equipment into the calibration system; Schedule equipment calibration per the calibration system; Maintain
associated calibration records.

Assist in processing of Change Requests and initiation of system updates and changes, as required.
Participate, as needed, in internal problem solving/improvement activities.
Maintain the color chip file .
Provide backup, as needed, for the following positions: Quality Resource; Quality Containment.
Perform and document Color Testing.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
