Managing Director (Geo-Politics - UAE)

My client is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished communications leader, with, ideally, over 10 years experience, to join their team at the 'Managing Director' level of their Government Relations and Strategic Communications division in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing their government relations practice in the Dubai region (with travel to other local Arab countries) working with clients to develop and execute strategies to achieve their objectives within the government sector. You could be coming from an in-house, government or consultancy background.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government relations, with a deep understanding of the U.K., U.S. or international political matrix landscape and a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with government agencies and officials at all levels. You should be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve outstanding results. You shall be able to manage hugely complex clients and issues and be proactive on maintaining and developing various new business strands.
