Sourcing Specialist (Multiple Categories)

Hong Kong

Our client is a reputable international sourcing organization supporting global retail markets. Due to continued business growth, they are currently seeking sourcing professionals across multiple product categories to join their expanding sourcing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from buying offices, sourcing offices, trading companies, retailers, and manufacturers who are passionate about products, supplier development, and international sourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and identify new products, suppliers and sourcing opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements and product developments within assigned categories
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners
  • Coordinate product development, sample follow-up and order execution activities
  • Work closely with international buyers and internal stakeholders on sourcing initiatives
  • Support supplier visits, factory evaluations and sourcing trips when required
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
  • Monitor production progress, quality standards and shipment schedules
  • Proactively identify and resolve production, quality or delivery issues
  • Ensure suppliers comply with company sourcing and compliance standards

Requirements

  • Degree holder
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, buying office, trading or related fields
  • Experience working with international retailers, buying offices, sourcing offices or manufacturers
  • Strong supplier management and product sourcing experience
  • Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with product development, production processes and supply chain operations
