A growing, project-based business is seeking a hands-on Accountant to support a busy pipeline of work as projects progress through key delivery phases.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across both operational and project finance, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, best suited to someone who can start immediately.
The Role

The Role
- Support cash flow management
- Track costs against budgets and assist with forecasting
- Oversee accounts payable processes (with support from an admin function)
- Maintain general ledger, journals, and month-end processes
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Provide basic financial analysis and variance support
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across operations and projects
- Assist with BAS / FBT and audit requirements
- Support activities through key project delivery and close-out phases
- CA/CPA Qualified or working towards (Part Qualified)
- Experience as a Company Accountant, Assistant Accountant, or Senior Bookkeeper, ideally within a large or complex business
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- Confident liaising with both finance and operational stakeholders
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Exposure to project-based or asset-heavy environments
- Experience working across high-volume transactions and reporting cycles
