The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician (Temporary) to work at a company located in the Holt, MI area!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Temporary)
 
Job Location: Holt, MI 
 
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $18.00/Hour- First Shift – 6AM-2:30PM MON-FRI
 
Job Description:                                                          
 
 
  1. Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair current and new machinery and/or systems
  2. Basic repairs of air compressors, hydraulics, heating ventilation, air conditioning units, electrical and/or plumbing 
  3. Ability to read and understand mechanical prints, drawings and electrical line diagrams and relay logic
  4. Basic maintenance and repair of robotics and CNC machinery
  5. Knowledge of MIG, TIG and ARC welding (SS, aluminum) 
  6. Clean and/or inspect machinery to troubleshoot for repair
  7. Installs electrical wiring and equipment during new installation and/or remodeling
  8. Respond to emergency maintenance requests
  9. Performs outside/exterior maintenance repairs as needed
  10. Work with Purchasing Coordinator to determine appropriate supplies and parts needed
  11. Assist with inventory when needed
  12. Clean debris and dust from assigned areas
  13. Inspect company equipment for possible problems and report findings on regular basis and perform preventative maintenance
  14. Move equipment upon instruction
  15. Maintain overall condition of the building and grounds
  16. High School Diploma or GED required
  17. Must pass pre-employment screenings
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (Preferred)
  2. Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  3. Basic knowledge of power tools (1 year)
  4. Experience with welding and fabricating (1 year)
  5. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work
  6. independently
