The role
  • Temporary Clinic Administrative Officer (Medical Receptionist) to support Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic
  • Backfill for planned leave from 13 July through to 9 October, with staggered dates and some flexibility required
  • Front of house role supporting student practitioners, academics and community clients across all age groups
Key responsibilities
  • First point of contact for enquiries, bookings, and client arrivals.
  • Manage appointments and patient flow across Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nutrition & Dietetics services.
  • Support a wide range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, clients, external partners, and other University colleagues.
  • Coordinate and complete client intake processes, questionnaires, and related administrative requirements.
  • Process payments through online systems (no Medicare billing).
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure strict confidentiality and privacy compliance.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming experience to a diverse client population.
  • Provide administrative support to student-led clinics, contributing to the smooth operation of clinical teaching and service delivery activities.
About you
  • Proven experience in an allied health or medical reception setting (essential)
  • Experience with Zanda or a similar practice management system (desirable)
  • Confident managing a busy front desk and competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, approachable and friendly manner
  • High attention to detail and accuracy across admin tasks
  • Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
Working arrangements
  • 3 days per week, with 4 days during peak leave coverage (w/c 28 July)
  • Clinic hours between 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
  • Onsite parking and close to public transport
