We are looking for an experienced Event Safety Marshals to support the Operations Team during the build and move-in of a major event.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor event logistics and ensure pallets, custom stand materials and equipment are placed according to the site plan.
- Ensure designated aisleways, dump areas and clearways are maintained at all times.
- Keep the front 3m aisle clear and ensure key access routes remain unobstructed.
- Support onsite contractor management and monitor safe working practices.
- Assist with working-at-heights and building practice compliance.
- Liaise with cleaning teams, venue operations, safety and loading dock teams.
- Communicate with suppliers, stand builders and contractors.
- Attend toolbox meetings with the Operations Team and provide feedback on safety and site conditions.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, organised and compliant event build environment.
About You
- Previous experience in event operations, event safety, construction or site safety.
- Strong understanding of site safety and contractor management.
- Confident communicating with contractors, suppliers and venue teams.
- Able to identify hazards and ensure clearways and access areas are maintained.
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a busy event build environment.
- Relevant safety qualifications/experience highly regarded.
