Banking & Finance Lawyer (1-3 years PAE)

About the role
Due to continued growth and success of the Banking & Finance practice, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer with 1-3 years' PQE to join a high-performing Melbourne team. Working closely with an experienced Partner, you will advise key clients on significant domestic and cross-border transactions and gain exposure to a broad range of banking and finance matters.

Duties
In this role you will:-

• work on corporate finance, property and construction finance, fund work, asset finance, receivables financing and advisory matters
• gain exposure to other practice groups to work on significant, complex, domestic and cross-border matters
• Advise financial institutions and corporate borrowers on complex financing arrangements  

The ideal candidate

• 1-3 years' PAE with a reputable Banking & Finance practice
• Strong experience and technical skills in front-end transaction work
• Solid drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide practical and commercially sound advice to clients
• Initiative, strong communication (written and verbal) skills and a collaborative approach
