CHERRY PICKER FORKLIFT OPERATOR / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

💰 Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
🕐 Schedule: Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. The primary responsibility will be safely and efficiently operating a cherry picker forklift to unload shipping containers, move products, and organize warehouse inventory.

The ideal candidate has strong forklift operating skills, excellent situational awareness, and hands-on experience with loading, unloading, material handling, staging, and warehouse organization. General warehouse labor will also be required as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely and efficiently operate a cherry picker forklift to unload shipping containers and move products throughout the warehouse.

• Unload pallets, boxes, and other materials from shipping containers while following proper forklift safety procedures.

• Properly position and stack products in designated warehouse locations.

• Move and stage inventory safely and efficiently.

• Sort and organize products according to model and product type.

• Inspect loads and ensure products are properly positioned and secured before moving them.

• Follow all forklift safety procedures and warehouse traffic rules.

• Maintain awareness of coworkers, equipment, and surroundings while operating the forklift.

• Perform daily forklift safety checks and report equipment concerns.

• Assist with general warehouse duties and manual labor when forklift operation is not required.

• Safely lift and handle packages weighing up to 88 pounds during manual warehouse duties.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous forklift operating experience required.

• Cherry picker forklift experience preferred.

• Experience unloading shipping containers strongly preferred.

• Ability to safely maneuver a forklift in a warehouse and container-unloading environment.

• Experience moving and organizing palletized and boxed products.

• Strong understanding of forklift and warehouse safety procedures.

• Ability to accurately sort products by model and product type.

• Ability to safely lift packages weighing up to 88 pounds.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team.

• Willingness to perform general warehouse duties when needed.
