Narre Warren | Local Government $53 per hour + Super Full-Time Contract until 19 January 2027

A local government organisation based in Narre Warren is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their People & Culture team on a contract through to January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and collaborative team while supporting end-to-end recruitment across a diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop meaningful recruitment briefs
• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities across a broad range of positions
• Managing recruitment workflows through PageUp and supporting the offer process
• Providing exceptional customer-focused service to candidates and stakeholders
• Supporting onboarding and recruitment-related activities in partnership with HR, Payroll and Injury Management teams
• Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
• Maintaining compliance with recruitment policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Supporting talent pooling and workforce planning initiatives where required
• Ensuring accurate records management, background checks and recruitment administration

About You
To be successful, you will bring:

• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or human resources
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes in a busy environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Experience working with HRIS platforms, ideally PageUp
• Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and employment legislation
• The ability to balance compliance requirements with a positive customer experience
• A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem solving

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience within local government or another regulated environment
• Exposure to talent pooling initiatives
• Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
