Key Responsibilities: Program Architecture Leadership
- Lead architecture across multiple program streams, providing direction, integration, and assurance.
- Define and govern target state architectures aligned to strategic outcomes and enterprise standards.
- Manage cross-stream dependencies spanning ICT, cyber, infrastructure, and application remediation.
- Contribute architectural input into business cases, design artefacts, and delivery roadmaps.
- Embed secure-by-design principles across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud domains.
- Ensure alignment to government security frameworks (e.g., Essential Eight, PSPF, ISM).
- Partner with cyber teams to uplift threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
- Provide authoritative guidance on risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead the uplift of secure developer environments across the program.
- Define and implement standardised, managed developer workstations (e.g., Intune-managed endpoints, approved toolchains).
- Drive secure software development practices, toolchain governance, and packaging/deployment models.
- Ensure developer platforms meet modern security, usability, and compliance expectations.
- Represent architecture in governance forums, ensuring compliance and endorsement of designs.
- Conduct and oversee design reviews, solution assurance, and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise patterns, standards, and reference architectures.
About You: You will bring:
- Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect or Program Architect within large, complex transformation programs.
- Deep expertise across cyber security architecture (endpoint, identity, network, cloud).
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, secure development environments, and developer tooling.
- Experience with endpoint management (e.g., Intune), device hardening, and secure workstation design.
- Proven ability to lead architecture across multi-stream programs with strong governance and assurance practices.
- Experience delivering technical debt reduction, modernisation, and platform uplift initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Canberra based
- Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline or NV1 clearance (existing clearance highly regarded)
