PROJECT MANAGER / OPERATIONAL READINESS COORDINATOR




LOCATION: Miami, FL

SCHEDULE:

DURATION: 12-Month Contract

PAY: $32-37/hr




Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will manage and coordinate large-scale strategic initiatives and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) activities. This is a project management and operational readiness role, with a focus on coordination, stakeholder alignment, reporting, and delivery rather than hands-on testing.







Key responsibilities include:

· Managing and coordinating multiple strategic initiatives and operational readiness activities.

· Driving project deliverables to completion accurately and on schedule.

· Coordinating ORT activities and ensuring readiness efforts are executed with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.

· Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and deliverables.

· Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholder groups to maintain alignment, accountability, and progress.

· Preparing clear, concise, and leadership-ready reporting and presentations.

· Supporting large-scale implementations, readiness activities, cutover, and hypercare efforts as needed.




Essential Duties and Job Functions:

· Coordinate and track project deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

· Proactively identify potential risks and issues and work with stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate resolutions.

· Facilitate communication and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure project objectives and deliverables remain on track.

· Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, dashboards, presentations, and other project documentation.

· Prepare executive-level communications and reporting that clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.

· Coordinate Operational Readiness Testing activities, ensuring schedules, deliverables, stakeholders, and action items are effectively managed.

· Monitor readiness activities and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion.

· Support implementation, cutover, and hypercare activities, including coordination of key deliverables and stakeholder communications.

· Maintain accurate project information and reporting within applicable project management tools.

· Utilize JIRA to track project activities, action items, issues, and deliverables.

· Develop and maintain Power BI reporting and dashboards to support project visibility and leadership decision-making.

· Develop professional PowerPoint presentations for project updates, executive reviews, and stakeholder meetings.

· Conduct regular follow-ups with stakeholders to maintain accountability and ensure commitments are met.

· Work independently to drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

· Maintain a high degree of organization and attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities.

· Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

· Advanced PowerPoint presentation development skills.

· Experience with JIRA and Power BI reporting.

· Ability to prioritize and manage competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively drive deliverables to completion.

Education & Experience:

· 5+ years of project management, operational readiness, or related experience.

· Proven experience supporting large-scale strategic initiatives or implementations.

· Experience with operational readiness, cutover, hypercare, or similar readiness activities preferred.

· Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups.

· Experience developing executive-level presentations and project reporting.

· Experience with JIRA and Power BI strongly preferred.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.

· Project management certification such as PMP or equivalent is a plus.
