An outstanding opportunity is available for Advanced Trainee Registrars and Senior Registrars to join the Medical Division of a major regional teaching and referral hospital.
Accredited for 12 months of core Endocrinology Advanced Training, this position combines high-quality specialist supervision with exposure to complex endocrine and diabetes presentations across regional and remote communities.
Appointments are available for six or 12 months, with the potential to undertake a further six months in a General and Acute Care Medicine Advanced Trainee position.

The Hospital
This approximately 200-bed teaching hospital is the principal referral centre for an extensive geographical region covering more than one million square kilometres.

The diverse clinical environment offers high-acuity medicine, strong specialist supervision and valuable experience in Aboriginal health, cross-cultural communication and remote healthcare delivery.
Remuneration and Benefits
Senior Registrar SREG 1–SREG 2:
$166,617–$182,143 per annum
Appointment will be made at the Registrar or Senior Registrar level depending on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.

You will work within an established endocrinology service alongside experienced endocrinologists, general physicians, diabetes nurse educators and multidisciplinary teams.
Clinical experience will include:
- General endocrinology and diabetes outpatient clinics
- Inpatient consultations and complex case management
- Weight-management and high-risk foot clinics
- Acute and chronic disease management
- Multidisciplinary care across a broad regional catchment
- Outreach services supporting remote communities
- Structured teaching and clinical case discussions
- Culturally responsive care for Aboriginal patients
