The service is deeply committed to supporting staff from day one through structured onboarding and clinical transition programmes designed to build confidence in this fast-paced specialty.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
  • Utilise clinical expertise to provide advice, care, and support to patients and their families.
  • Respond and adjust easily to changing clinical priorities and patient flows.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and professional patient journeys.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document therapeutic effects of treatments.

Key Skills Required:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department.
  • Proven competence in triage and resuscitation roles.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Post-graduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing is highly desirable.
