Our client is a leading customer service-focused scaffolding supplier and contractor with one of Australia's largest scaffold fleets. Operating across QLD, NSW, VIC, and WA, they have experienced exceptional growth over the past 12+ years and are looking for a reliable Yard Hand / Forklift Operator to join their busy Gladstone team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily yard operations, including the safe loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of scaffolding equipment.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move scaffold materials throughout the yard.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Store materials correctly for easy access and efficient stock rotation.
  • Coordinate stock and equipment placement to maximise yard space and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with general yard duties and manual handling as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Current LF Forklift Licence
  • Proven forklift operating experience, ideally in a yard, warehouse, or construction materials environment
  • Experience with manual handling and labouring, including lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Basic inventory and stock control experience
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to pass random Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • White Card

Highly Regarded

  • Previous experience within the scaffolding or construction industry
  • Knowledge of scaffold components, storage requirements, and equipment care
