Building Assessor

Due to newly awarded contracts, we are seeking professionals who can demonstrate expertise in mechanical and electrical building services, and have previous asset data capture experience, who are willing to travel to sites across the greater Melbourne metro area and regional Victoria. These positions will be collecting data with smartphones/tablets and 3D imaging cameras in a range of multi-site facilities such as: hospitals & clinics, universities, schools, TAFE, and government buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Identify and record data on the type, location and condition of relevant mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures and building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
• Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is upload as directed to minimise risk of data loss.
• Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
• Maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail and professionalism throughout the projects.

To be considered, you will need:

• Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Victorian driver's license, and willingness to travel to regional Victoria.
• A current Employee Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position, capturing data on a variety of assets in a range of environments.
• Proficient with the use and troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
• Professional demeanour and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of building materials, defects, and mechanical/electrical building services.
