Maintenance Engineer

Jelly Technical are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Leicester. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficiency, safety and continuous improvement of the production lines. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in a busy environment.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern you will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns, helping us minimise downtime and maintain high standards of quality.

Role and responsibilities of this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

• Respond swiftly to critical breakdowns to deliver effective solutions and repairs.
• Complete scheduled PPM’s.
• Be proactive in looking at root cause analysis to improve reliability of the plat machinery.
• Maintain complete and accurate data logs within the CMMS.
• Adhere strictly to all site Health and Safety protocols, hygiene regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and the engineering shift lead regarding daily workloads.

Experience needed for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

• Apprentice trained or time served – multi skilled.
• Background as a maintenance engineer (any industry will be considered)
• Solid awareness and practical understanding of industrial Health & Safety standards.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working effectively on your own initiative or within a team.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to business demands and seasonal fluctuations

• Salary: £47,000 per annum (plus 5% Night Shift Allowance).
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating Days and Nights, 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am.
