Searson Buck is partnering with a large and highly regarded organisation to recruit a commercially minded finance professional into a high-impact role supporting business performance, strategic decision-making and operational improvement.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations and strategy.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll help monitor performance, identify opportunities, support planning processes and provide the analysis required to make better commercial decisions.
You'll play a key role in helping stakeholders understand what is happening, why it is happening and what actions can be taken to improve outcomes.
Key areas of focus include:

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Providing commercial insights and performance analysis.
• Monitoring key business drivers, trends and performance indicators.
• Partnering with leaders to support decision-making and business improvement.
• Delivering meaningful reporting and financial commentary.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improved performance.
• Leveraging data and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

About You

You may currently be working as a:

• Senior Finance Analyst
• Finance Business Partner
• Commercial Analyst
• Management Accountant
• Senior Management Accountant
• Commercial Finance Manager

Experience within large, operationally focused or asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded.

You'll Bring

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience in commercial finance, management accounting or business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability.
• The ability to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience working with business intelligence tools and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
• Strong commercial judgement, curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of an organisation.
