This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with operational teams and project managers to ensure safe working practices are embedded across multiple projects

As Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the business with all aspects of health, safety and compliance across operational and construction activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting project and operational teams with their health & safety obligations.
- Preparing and reviewing RAMS, risk assessments, construction phase plans and safe systems of work.
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitoring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Managing training records, competency requirements and compliance tracking.
- Supporting vehicle and fleet safety processes.
- Maintaining health & safety documentation, policies and management systems.
- Producing health & safety performance reports for senior leadership.
- Promoting a positive health & safety culture across the organisation
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Experience within construction or a similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience producing RAMS, risk assessments and construction phase plans.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
- IOSH Membership.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with Health & Safety management systems and portals.
- Experience managing training compliance and audit processes.
- Additional Health & Safety qualifications or certifications
