We are partnering with a leading global technology and manufacturing organisation to appoint a Business Unit Head – Infrastructure.
This is a senior business leadership opportunity with responsibility for a sizeable and complex technology business. The successful candidate will have full P&L accountability while integrating multiple functions including Sales, R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing to deliver sustainable growth and operational performance.
The role requires an accomplished technology executive with strong ODM business experience, commercial acumen and international leadership exposure, combined with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & P&L
- Own the overall strategy, P&L and long-term growth agenda for the Business Unit.
- Drive revenue, profitability and operational performance across a large-scale international business.
- Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities to create sustainable growth.
- Translate technology, customer and competitive trends into clear commercial priorities.
Commercial & Customer Leadership
- Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with major global customers and business partners.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and develop long-term customer strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen the organisation's competitive position.
- Ensure commercial priorities are effectively translated across product, engineering and operational teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Integrate multiple business functions, including Sales, R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing, to deliver business objectives.
- Drive collaboration between commercial, technical and manufacturing organisations.
- Lead complex cross-BU and cross-functional initiatives to maximise organisational capabilities.
- Ensure alignment between customer requirements, product strategy, supply chain and manufacturing execution.
Organisation & International Leadership
- Lead a sizeable, geographically dispersed organisation across multiple markets.
- Develop senior leaders and strengthen organisational capabilities to support future growth.
- Foster a high-performance culture centred on innovation, collaboration and commercial accountability.
- Navigate complex matrix structures and influence stakeholders across business units and regions.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including 10+ years of management experience within technology, electronics, ODM or related industries.
- Proven leadership of an ODM-related business with full P&L accountability.
- Experience integrating at least two major functions across Sales, R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop new business opportunities.
- Strong and verifiable track record of delivering significant business results.
- Experience managing a business of substantial scale, ideally USD500 million+.
- Proven experience leading organisations of approximately 100+ employees; candidates managing smaller teams may also be considered where organisational complexity is significant.
- Strong cross-regional or international management experience.
- Engineering background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates from other academic backgrounds should demonstrate strong technical understanding.
- Experience within data centres, hardware, product development or manufacturing will be highly advantageous.
- Experience collaborating across multiple Business Units or Business Groups is advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, with Mandarin proficiency required to engage effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, business partners, suppliers and stakeholders across key Asian markets.
