Job Overview:
The Senior HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to corporate leaders and employees, delivering high-quality HR support that drives business performance and fosters a positive, inclusive culture. This role operates at the intersection of people, processes, and data—ensuring operational excellence, enabling talent outcomes, and promoting a high-performance, values-driven organization aligned with Ingersoll Rand principles. This position plays a critical role in HR operations, HRIS (SuccessFactors) administration, and employee engagement while collaborating closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and business leaders.
Responsibilities:
HR Partnership & Support
- HR contact for corporate teams, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support HRBPs and business leaders in executing talent strategies, organizational changes, and workforce planning
- Partner across HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development), as needed, to deliver seamless employee experiences
HRIS Administration (SAP: SuccessFactors)

Maintain and administer employee data within SuccessFactors, ensuring timely and accurate data entry (e.g., hires, job changes, reorganizations, terminations)

Perform regular audits and data validation checks across enterprise to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance

Troubleshoot errors and discrepancies, escalating when needed, and act as liaison between HR users and HRIS teams

Generate and analyze reports to support business insights and HR decision-making

Continuously identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve system utilization
Data Accuracy & Compliance

Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements

Conduct periodic audits of employee records and system transactions, proactively resolving discrepancies

Support internal and external audits related to employee data and HR processes
Training & Capability Building

Create user guides, job aids, and training materials to enhance HRIS adoption and HR process understanding

Lead SuccessFactors onboarding for new HR team members across North America

Deliver refresher training aligned with system/process updates

Ensure training materials remain current and consistent with policy
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a corporate environment
- Must have hands-on experience with HRIS systems, specifically SuccessFactors
Core Competences:

Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferences:

Experience supporting global and matrixed organizations

Knowledge of HR compliance, employment practices, and audit processes

HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent)
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- This position will be based at our corporate offices in Davidson, NC, with minimal anticipated travel.
