We are looking for an experienced Workforce Scheduler to join a local council in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, on a temporary contract through to 30 January 2027.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and keeping things organised. You will autonomously coordinate the Customer Service Officers’ roster while providing administrative support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate and manage the roster schedule for Customer Service Officers, ensuring appropriate coverage and responding to changing requirements.
• Manage competing priorities and demands while identifying and resolving scheduling issues.
• Provide a range of administrative and support services to Team Leaders and the Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and workforce information in line with established systems and processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to communicate changes, resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Criteria: 

• Previous experience in a fast-paced office management or administrative role, ideally involving complex customer service and rostering requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent planning and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with people at all levels.
• Experience using Genesys Cloud is essential.
• Local council experience is highly regarded.
