About the Role:
As a PCIe SSD Validation Engineer, you will execute comprehensive PCIe validation tests, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and leverage advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize high-speed storage systems. Your efforts will help shape the future of storage technology, ensuring our SSDs meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in SSD, storage, or PCIe-centric validation, bring-up, or equivalent high-speed I/O domains
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in Python or similar language for test and tooling development
• Experience working within Linux validation environments
• Familiarity with CI/regression infrastructure, such as Jenkins and Git-based workflows
• Hands-on experience with PCIe analyzers/exercisers (e.g., Teledyne/LeCroy, Keysight) for trace capture and debugging
• Strong debug skills across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced settings

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTs, or related signal debug tools
• Knowledge of NVMe/OCP logs and system log analysis
• Leadership experience in test roadmap development or standardization of test APIs
• Familiarity with error injection, trace analysis, and protocol debug procedures

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in validation or bring-up roles
• Prior experience with PCIe protocol testing at the hardware and software levels

Other Requirements:

• Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA
• Employment Type: W2 only (no C2C)
• Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extension
• Start Date: 07/27
• Must be comfortable working in an onsite environment; travel is not anticipated
• Willingness to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and systems teams
