Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – High-End Commercial Estate – Belgravia, London – Up to £47,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based at a prestigious high-end commercial estate in Belgravia, London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining a portfolio of premium commercial buildings.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the estate, with some basic mechanical and building fabric duties also required.

Package & Hours of Work:

• Basic salary up to £47,000
• Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 17:00
• 1 in 4 call-out rota
• £100 standby payment
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 28 days with service

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the estate.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Lighting maintenance, including emergency lighting.
• Testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintenance of distribution boards, power supplies and electrical plant.
• Basic BMS monitoring and operation.
• Responding to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests.
• Carrying out basic mechanical and general building fabric maintenance where required.
• Escorting and supervising specialist subcontractors.
• Completing maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with relevant regulations and site procedures.
• Working closely with the engineering team and client to ensure the estate is maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical and general building services.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Must be able to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications.
