We’re partnering with a highly regarded design-led studio to find an experienced Workplace Strategist to join a collaborative team delivering workplace environments that balance people, business objectives and great design.

This is an opportunity to work alongside talented designers, project teams and clients to shape workplace experiences from the earliest stages of projects — influencing strategy before design begins.

The Opportunity As Workplace Strategist, you’ll sit at the intersection of research, design, business strategy and workplace experience. You’ll help clients understand how their teams work today, how they want to work tomorrow, and translate those insights into meaningful workplace solutions.
Working across workplace fit-out and commercial interior projects, you’ll partner closely with clients, designers and project teams to deliver evidence-based strategies that shape future workplaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead workplace strategy engagements across commercial workplace projects
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, focus groups and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Conduct workplace research including utilisation studies, surveys and behavioural analysis
• Analyse workplace data and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations
• Develop workplace strategies, briefing documents and functional space requirements
• Work closely with interior designers to ensure strategic outcomes are translated into physical environments
• Present findings, recommendations and workplace narratives to clients and stakeholders
• Support clients through change management and workplace transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery

What We're Looking For

• Experience within workplace strategy, workplace consulting, commercial interiors, interior design, architecture or related fields
• Strong understanding of workplace design, hybrid work environments and employee experience
• Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and running workshops
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear narratives
• Experience producing presentations, reports and strategy documents
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical project delivery
• Experience within workplace fit-out, commercial interiors or Design & Construct environments is highly regarded
