Artist Development Manager- Indie/Pop/Rock/Alt- Hybrid

Yoh has an immediate, 2-month contract opportunity, as an Artist Development Manager within the Entertainment & Music industry to join our client, Hybrid, at their office in New York, New York

• $50-55hr. maximum hourly rate
• 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday, OT as necessary
  • 4 days OnSite, 1 Remote
• Must have 5+ years of artist development/music marketing experience with direct responsibility for developing artists, building release strategies, and growing fanbases through digital marketing campaigns.

* Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of the NYC office and be available to work onsite 4 days per week from the start date. Relocation candidates will not be considered for this opportunity*

What You Will Be Doing

• Own a roster of developing artists, serving as the primary day-to-day partner for artist and management teams.
• Develop and execute strategic marketing, audience growth, and release campaigns across digital and social platforms.
• Create artist development plans focused on fanbase growth, content strategy, and long-term career development.
• Partner cross-functionally with A&R, Commercial Partnerships, Creative, Radio, Sync, and International teams to drive successful releases.
• Lead the creation and execution of social media, creator/influencer, advertising, and content marketing initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance using Spotify, YouTube, social media, and other analytics tools; provide insights and recommendations to optimize results.
• Manage release operations, marketing budgets, and external vendors/agencies while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Relevant music industry, artist development, digital marketing, or label experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 5+ years of artist development, label marketing, or digital marketing experience within the music industry, with a proven track record supporting artist growth and releases.
• Direct artist-facing experience, including building strong relationships with artists, managers, and other key stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing release strategies and marketing campaigns that drive fan acquisition, engagement, and commercial results.
• Strong digital marketing and audience development expertise, including social media strategy, content planning, creator/influencer marketing, and paid media campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating cross-functionally with A&R, creative, commercial, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with independent artists and genres such as indie, alternative, rock, and pop.
• Proficiency with Spotify for Artists, YouTube Analytics, social media insights, and music industry platforms/tools used to measure campaign performance and audience growth.
