Director of Nursing

As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. You will lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of nursing professionals, drive quality improvement initiatives, oversee staffing and clinical programs, and partner with the interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes. Your leadership will play a critical role in survey readiness, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and the overall success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and daily clinical operations.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to foster a positive, high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining continuous survey readiness.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and clinical resource management.
• Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care and positive clinical outcomes.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement support.
• Partner with facility leadership to achieve operational goals and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, physicians, and staff while promoting a culture of excellence.

• Qualifications
  

• Current North Carolina RN license in good standing.
• Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, quality measures, infection prevention, and clinical operations.
• Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for building strong teams and delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
