Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and installation of leak tester control boards
- Wiring of sensors, devices, and machine components
- Pneumatic tubing and system testing (strong pneumatic knowledge highly regarded)
- Assist with packaging machinery when required
- Switchboard building and interpretation of schematic drawings
- Support design, development, and documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and OH&S standards
- Occasional offsite work including installations, breakdowns, and customer service
- Fully qualified and licensed electrician (Electrical Fitter preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ post-trade experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- High attention to detail with strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Solid understanding of switchboard wiring rules and regulations
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Basic PLC programming knowledge (advanced skills highly regarded)
- Strong mechanical aptitude – comfortable working with mechatronic systems
- Previous machine-building experience advantageous (not essential)
- Computer literate (Excel, Word; electrical drawing capability beneficial)
- Current driver’s licence and own vehicle required
- Permanent full-time role – no weekend work or rosters
- Consistent hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 4:00pm
