The Health & Safety Manager is accountable for leading and overseeing two large sites in Australia. The role partners closely with site leadership teams to embed strategy, ensure compliance, and drive a strong safety culture.

Health & Safety Manager
You will be leading and developing a small HSE team to ensure effective governance and consistent application of standards. Establishing and maintaining robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Engaging with regulators and external agencies as required and sharing best practices across the wider organisation. Driving a positive safety and wellbeing culture by influencing and coaching leaders.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety, Environment, Engineering or relative discipline
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing EHS teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner and challenge senior leaders
• Solid understanding of EHS legislation, compliance requirements, and management systems
• Experience in incident investigation methodologies and risk management practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate risk and compliance into clear actions
