About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 35 hours/week with 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Setting: Pediatric Subspecialty Practice
Responsibilities:
- Answering telephone calls and taking messages
- Intake of new and revisit patients
- Updating demographic and financial data
- Cash collections
- Preparation of charts and encounter forms
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar setting
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer savvy
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of medical office experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with EMR systems
