Our client is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver & Storeperson to join their newly established workshop in Kaikorai Valley, Dunedin. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major long-term construction project from the ground up, working within a small team and helping establish a brand-new operation.
This role offers plenty of variety, combining Class 2 driving, stores management, forklift operation, and general workshop support. No two days will be the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working independently, and taking initiative. Please note this is a temporary role up to two years while working on a large project.

Duties Include:
- Class 2 truck deliveries and collections
- Loading and unloading materials
- Forklift operation and stock movement
- Organising and maintaining store areas
- Assisting with workshop setup and organisation
- Supporting fabrication staff with basic workshop tasks
- Assembly of racking, storage systems, and equipment
- Stock control and inventory management
- General labouring and workshop support duties
- Following health and safety procedures
- Full Class 2 Licence with proven experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Forklift licence highly desirable
- Stores, warehousing, or logistics experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Site Safe and First Aid advantageous but not essential
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Clean criminal history
- Valid NZ work rights
- Competitive pay rate of $30-$32 per hour depending on experience
- Brand-new truck and workshop facilities
- Monday to Friday roster
- Variety of work with no two days the same
- Long-term project involvement of up to two years
