The role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a growing national organisation with a strong presence in Bendigo.

Due to significant demand and an existing waitlist, the organisation is looking to appoint one or more practitioners to its local team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within an organisation that combines national support and governance with the autonomy of a local practice.

The role is community-based, with no requirement to work from an office. Practitioners can complete administration from home while working directly with participants, families, schools, support teams and other stakeholders across the Bendigo region.

The caseload will include NDIS participants across children and adults, with exposure to autism, complex behaviours, schools, Youth Justice and other community settings.

Practitioners will manage their own caseload and deliver functional assessments, Behaviour Support Plans, reviews, intervention strategies, stakeholder consultation and capability-building.

The organisation provides established clinical governance, systems and national support, while practitioners are trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy and professional maturity.

The role carries a monthly billable expectation, with an additional incentive scheme rewarding practitioners who exceed their target while maintaining clinical quality and compliance.

The incentive structure increases progressively:

  • First 1–10 hours above target: $110 per additional hour
  • 11–19 hours above target: $125 per additional hour
  • 20+ hours above target: $140 per additional hour
