Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Specialist to join a growing team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you'll play an important part in the production process by inspecting, processing, and packaging products while ensuring every part meets quality standards before reaching the customer.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:
- Production Processing: Rack and unrack parts, select the correct racks, count products, and prepare materials for processing and shipment.
- Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections, identify defects or inconsistencies, and ensure all products meet customer and company quality standards.
- Packaging & Documentation: Package finished products, complete production paperwork, and maintain accurate production records throughout the shift.
In addition, you'll help maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety procedures, and work closely with production and quality teams to support daily production goals.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous 2+ years manufacturing experience required.
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to recognize defects and ensure products meet quality expectations.
- Organization: Able to prioritize tasks while maintaining a clean and efficient work area.
- Problem Solving: Identify production or quality issues and communicate them appropriately.
- Communication: Work effectively with supervisors and team members to support production goals.
