Following on from our communication on LinkedIn, as mentioned I am currently recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Director position with EFTEC in Romanshorn, Switzerland.

  • The position will manage the Western Europe region, having 3 counterparts who will then manage Eastern Europe, Asia and America.
  • This position reports directly into the Senior VP.
  • The products include polyurethane, elastomers, acrylates, epoxy and plastisols, to be used in the automotive industry.
  • Customers include OEMs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Management of the sales department (about 20 -30 employees)
  • Creating the marketing concept for the 3-year plan
  • Strategic development of the product portfolio
  • Project management of tenders
  • Drawing up the annual plans and ensuring the agreed sales targets
  • Realisation of all sales projects according to the marketing concept
  • Definition of customer needs as input for new development projects
  • Construction, expansion and maintenance of all necessary customer contacts
  • Leading key projects in collaboration with development

Application Requirements:

  • First-class performance as sales and marketing manager with technical background, preferably experience in the automotive industry or its supplier industry
  • Several years of professional and managerial experience in a similar organisational structure
  • A high degree of initiative, commitment and flexibility
  • Easy handling of common MS Office programs
  • German and English in spoken and written (business fluent)
  • Willingness to travel in Europe
  • You are pragmatic and have "hands on" in your actions

Salary:160,000CHF per annum, plus bonus (up to 40,000CHF), company car, 25-30 day holidays.

With regards to the pension, there are additional payments every year by EFTEC into the fund. With their fund you can convert the complete sum and not just the compulsory part (an offer just a handful of very well financed funds offer in the meantime in Switzerland).
