Job Summary:
This is an entry-level operations position focused on monitoring and incident response, not server administration. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in data center or infrastructure operations.

This Data Center Services (DCS) team is responsible for monitoring and supporting the organization's enterprise server infrastructure. Data Center Technician's are the first line of support. They monitor the environment, respond to alerts, create incident tickets, follow documented procedures, and ensure issues are escalated to the appropriate engineering teams.

This role is designed to provide exposure to enterprise infrastructure while learning from senior engineers and technicians.

The Data Center Technician will:
  • Monitor enterprise infrastructure and production systems
  • Respond to system alerts and incidents
  • Follow documented troubleshooting procedures
  • Create and manage ServiceNow tickets
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate technical teams
  • Monitor operational email queues and communications
  • Maintain accurate incident documentation
  • Support infrastructure monitoring and observability initiatives
  • Work in a 24/7 operations environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor enterprise systems and infrastructure in a 24/7 environment
  • Respond to system alerts and incidents
  • Follow documented procedures and escalation paths
  • Create and manage ServiceNow tickets
  • Monitor and respond to operational emails and communications
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for infrastructure monitoring events
  • Support observability and monitoring initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and incident records
Required:
  • 1-2 years of IT or infrastructure operations experience.
  • Experience in a NOC, Operations Center, or enterprise monitoring environment.
  • ServiceNow or other enterprise ticketing system experience.
  • Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within enterprise infrastructure.

  • Desktop Support (Laptop imaging, Office 365 support, Password resets, Help Desk) without any infrastructure monitoring or operations center experience.
  • Developers; Candidates whose background is primarily Software Development, Programming, QA Testing
