- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and backlog items.
- Perform complex data analysis and mining to support business insights and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to design, document, and maintain system workflows, data models, and integrations.
- Support API design, documentation, and enterprise-wide system integration efforts.
- Conduct impact analysis across interconnected systems and support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Participate in iterative planning sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate delivery quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or higher with strong expertise in business system design and solutions.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, application lifecycle management, or production support—preferably within financial or retirement recordkeeping platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex business rules (e.g., pension calculations, eligibility, compliance).
- Working understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, and APIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Domain knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans, calculations, and compliance.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with data governance, reconciliation, and auditing processes.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming, especially Java, is a plus.
