Thriving Internal Medicine Clinic seeks an additional BE/BC Internist to accommodate a growing community. Patient admissions and call are required. This clinic was established in 1982, and offers services in both internal medicine and nephrology.

  • The hospital call is currently shared between a total of six internists (two pulmonologists, one nephrologist, and three general internists).
  • Call consists of one weekend out of six and one out of six weekdays.
  • We have participated in a number of clinic and hospital-based research trials.
  • The area qualifies as an underserved, health manpower shortage area through the Appalachian Regional Commission.
