Director, Sync Licensing & Creative Partnerships- Contract- Hybrid

Yoh has an immediate, 6 month contract opportunity, as a Director, Sync Licensing & Creative Partnerships with our client, AWAL, a division of SONY Music Entertainment, in a hybrid role, to report from their office based in Culver City, CA

• $50hr. max hourly rate
• 4 days a week Onsite, 1 day remote
• Must bring an established music supervisor network and demonstrated success securing sync placements within advertising, trailer, and visual media environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Source and secure sync licensing opportunities for AWAL artists.
• Leverage music supervisor relationships to drive placements in ads, trailers, and TV promos.
• Partner with marketing teams to support artist release campaigns through sync strategy.
• Develop brand partnership and promotional opportunities for artists.
• Work directly with artists, managers, and internal stakeholders on sync initiatives.
• Create opportunities for original music placements in visual media projects.
• Track and maximize the impact of sync placements across artist campaigns.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Established music supervisor network within advertising, trailer, and promo spaces.
• Demonstrated track record of securing sync placements and creative partnerships.
• 3-5 years of sync licensing experience within the music or entertainment industry.
• Strong artist, client, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Passion for music, artist marketing, and creative partnership development.
• Excellent project management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and collaborative team-first mindset.
